We are excited to launch our first book club at Drip and Culture! We will be reading "The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together" by Heather McGhee.
Below are steps to register and more information about the book club. Should you have any questions, feel free to hit us up.
How to Register:
Please provide your name, email, day of the week you are available to attend, and if you prefer virtual or in person sessions on the form below by March 10th.
Once we've received feedback, we will follow up with calendar invites and other formalities.
We would like to have our first book club meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd.
Book Club Meetings:
Meetings will take in person at Drip & Culture's location inside Supermercado Gonzalez. Virtual sessions will be hosted using Google Meet.
Meetings will be from 7-8 PM on their designated nights.
Book Club Format:
It's always fun when you read together.
The format for this book club will be reading two chapters per week. During each session, we will discuss the chapters of the "week". The goal is to be able to get through the book in 5 weeks. Seems doable, right?
Remember to shop local.
We always encourage folks to shop at their local bookstore. If you need help locating one, let us know.
If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
